Barb Gavitt, CDEI, ITP, SILA-F
Barb is the Insurance Lead and Faculty Vice President at Knopman Marks. She has been in the insurance education industry for 34 years and has experience teaching insurance and securities exam prep, writing content, and developing curriculum.

She helped establish the SILA Education and Training Subgroup (SETS) and serves as a Co-chair. She served on the SILA Board from 2013-2021, including SILA President in 2020. She was elected back on the board for 2025 as the President-elect.

She has contributed to articles published by the U.S. News and Word Report and Pet Priority.
